🎧 The Underground Stage Playlist

I put a lot of work into finding new Australian releases and I only focus on newer bands (plus the occasional artist I shot way back back who have now got bigger).

I keep the playlist to a crisp 50 tracks, none of the tracks are more than a few weeks old, and I update it religiously every Friday, with the occasional extra track added through the week. There’s usually something interesting to listen to, and it’s guaranteed to be brand new.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
