There were a lot of quieter, more introspective tracks out this week, but there was still enough energy in there too to help us make it through the summer storms.
As ever, all the tracks that make it onto the playlist are aces in my book but if I had to pick no more than five to check out this week, it’d be these.
💥 Benny J Blake absolutely explodes into view with the fizzing debut ‘Begin‘.
🎸 Six-strings get a workout this week, with a gem of a release from Hassall, the expected high-quality strumming and songwriting from Royal Chant, and slices of mischevious guitar fun from Delivery, who released their ‘Force Majeure‘ album this week.
🤫 At the other end of the volume scale, ISHAN‘s new track is a quiet delight, delicate and lovely.
