TAKEN FROM THE EP ‘EMPTY WORDS’

Radio Free Alice – Regret

With a playful edge, this track from the ‘Empty Words’ EP skitters across the floor with an icy and confident abandon. Potent and literate mischief, and still just one part of a stellar body of work so far.

TAKEN FROM THE ALBUM ‘INFINITE HIGHS, END OF TIMES

RAGEFLOWER – DESK JOB

The contrast in the RAGEFLOWER name bursts into life on this excellent track from its equally excellent debut album, a firm slap to the chops that’s somehow delivered with the lightest of touches.

Seaside – Rebels

Seaside’s sharp eye and keen aim hits its mark full force on their latest, a track that lines up its shot carefully before exploding in heat and energy.

Lucky – Lady Beetle

The opening riffs swoop from the sky to pluck at your hair and eyes, a fuzzy-edged blast of rushing air and distortion, enough to divert you onto a wilder course.

Trillion – Echoes of a Sunny Smile

Three is the canonically correct number of guitars for a shoegaze band, and Trillion have both that and enough swirling hiss and snarl to make them one of the best of their kind going right now.
