“Pricey and his band carry history from his previous life in The Chats, but it doesn’t weigh them down, not even a little bit. Two things jump out like monkeys from a box: first, these songs are just sheer wicked-ripping fun, but second, my word how Pricey can PLAY. The noise coming from that guitar shines from start to end – inventive rhythms, bluesy chaos, or wailing solos, depending on what’s required in the moment, a foundation on which you could construct a skyline full of skyscrapers. The whole thing sneers and snarls like it wants to rip the molars from your mouth, but underneath it all are those six strings being hammered like life itself depends on it. Fully charged.”
