“Ricky’s Breath carry a schizophrenic bag of threats, a blistering smorgasbord of ways to lose an eye. Their set is, by turns, punk rock, prog, psych, riot grrl, screamo, and jazz – and sometimes all of the above in the space of one song. It’s like having a temperamental and unpredictable puppy in the house, one who happens to have knives instead of teeth and may or may not be in a savaging mood. It’s fully unscrewed from sanity, and is gloriously, honkingly good fun.”
