“Siphon’s two-piece setup of bass guitar and drums defies expectations, a magnificent racket that some bands with at least double the amount of arms and four times the amount of strings couldn’t produce. The slower ones can lean towards the sludgier end of things – which may be to your taste – but the faster half of the setlist is savage and bright, quick-witted in the composition and blaringly mad in the performance.”
