“Well? have been in residence at The Duke for four Thursdays, a natural habitat if ever there was one. On record, the big impressive song stuff is all well in place but live… well hell, it’s got *that* extra gear you can’t capture, a madhouse of bent mirrors and feral sound. By set’s close all the leashes are broken, the brakes are blown, and the engine’s got flames and smoke flaring from the whole machine.”
