YONLAPA’s sparkly sound lights it up like a mirrorball, flecks of light in a dark room, revolving madly around the walls. It’s lovely stuff, indie rock made pretty and glittering.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
