Babitha and DMA’s shared honours this week, with their tracks making it onto the most new Australian music playlists this week. That’s what you’d kind of expect for DMA’s, but that’s a hell of a win for Babitha and richly earned.

Elsewhere, it was a messy week, with a chunk less tracks being added overall and a lot of artists getting a lot of adds.
HANDSOME, The Moving Stills, and Tia Gostelow (for the second week running) all did particularly well, and it was great to see Adam Newling so near the top – he’s had a great year, and this was a good way to end it. It was also interesting to see Caroline Polachek pop up in so many places – international artists don’t usually make it to the top end of these Australian-focused lists.
Death By Denim and Touch Sensitive both bagged a ton of space, but the brilliant Jewel Owusu was the Story Of The Week though, picking up as many adds on the new Australian music playlists as the mighty Mallrat and PNAU.
