After School Care – Oughta Be

Bursting out of its own seams with vein-bulging energy, After School Care summon the ghosts of The Replacements and inject a hefty dose of Bad//Dreems dustiness to conjure up a high-tension gem. Twitchy and jerky, travelling at an unsafe speed, this is as much pure stress relief as it is a grand explosion of spiky, visceral song.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
