Wow – when Carla Geneve lets it all go, you’re going to want to duck. Following on from a series of (musically, not lyrically) more gentle songs, this one is let off its leash and is commanded to go for the throat. “I’ve been listening to screamo / I’ve been feeling real emo… again” goes the glorious opening line, and while it starts off with a low growl, it escalates into a full-throated roar in short order, blowing out your eardrums and probably a few windows to boot. Whatever the hell it is that’s been on the stereo to inspire a song like this, turn it all the way up.
