Well, this is filthy. There’s always been such a *strut* to FFMB’s moves, a confidence that defies your gaze and your judgement – this art lives separately from and above you. This slice of swagger walks slowly up to your face. It tells you what’s what. It owns you now, and you know it. It walks away, and doesn’t even bother looking back over its shoulder.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
