A rattling debut from Champ Ruby, which manages to sound both as a Friday night but as smooth as a Sunday morning all at the same time. The whole thing kind of glows, bright and fizzy and tingly.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
