New outfit Chimers crash, bang, and wallop their way into existence with this raucous debut, a heady mix of Royal Headache rawness and QOTSA intensity. Each of its parts have been stripped of their paint and pushed to their limits, leaving a concentrated blast of really bloody meaning it. An emphatic entrance.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
