Newton Faulkner Drops AUNZ Exclusive Track To Accompany Live Dates

Across two decades, Newton Faulkner’s delight of a voice and that picky, plucky style of guitar playing has lit up dark rooms around the world. To go along with his Australian and New Zealand dates in March & April he’s gifting us a new exclusive track too.

With seven studio albums behind him, he brings a rich catalog to his tour, which also takes in a stop at Bluesfest. The new track is a typically lovely addition to that catalog, emotional and heartfelt.

With a style that has always sat neatly alongside homegrown artists like Jack Johnson, Australia has always had a bit of a soft spot for him, and the feeling’s mutual. Talking about making the track exclusively available in AU/NZ, Faulkner remembers that “Australia was the first international place to get behind my music. To have fans on the other side of the world was mind blowing. We have always tried to come back regularly as the gigs and festivals have always been so fun. This time I didn’t want to come back empty handed, so this song is a small gift from me to Australia and the wonderful fans I’ve been so lucky to play in front of over the years.

An easy-going attitude, a guitar, and a hatful of smart and delicious songwriting – sounds right up Australia’s street.

Newton Faulker plays Factory Theatre, 28th Mar 2024
