Teenage Dads absolutely romped all over the best new music playlists in Australia this week, with ‘Tale Of A Man‘ bagging more spots than any other artist, and appearing on over half of the playlists that updated this week. It wasn’t a slow week for updates either – and to grab spots on 11 of these playlists in one week is really rare, and a powerful show of support for a band that’s had a brilliant run in 2023.

Middle Kids and Good Morning weren’t too far behind though, as you’d expect for artists of that size – in a normal week, the amount of support they received (spots on more than a third of the lists tracked) would have put either of them in the top spot.
With these three acts getting so much support the Story Of The Week is a little further down, in the shape of Vv Pete, whose collab with UTILITY and Kelman Duran got enough playlist adds to put them in the company of some far more established artists.
