“Bleeding Knees Club have literally never let me down. Not once, not with one note. It’s daft as a brush but it’s well-read and made of art. It gives you bruises – like the ones I got down the front getting this shot – but it’s joyous and triumphant. It comes off disposable, but the simple brutality of five-year-old tracks still set your hair on fire. My 500th set shot – time was rarely better spent.”
