“My whole thing is shooting artists early in their careers. Keli Holiday may be 50% of Peking Duk but this is still his first live show, so… it still counts, right? You know what though, I almost don’t care that he’s already a star, or that it was always going to sound *this* titanically good. Seeing an artist who’s already *that* big, playing in this room, and having *this* much fun doing it is just a fucking JOY. If my test of an act is how much fun they have in a small room, it’s A-pluses all round tonight. That the songs are genuinely killer is just gravy on top.”
