Sal & The Mandas @ Moshpit, 20th Jan

Like one of those crazy pets that somehow finds its way home despite falling down a fucking well or something, Sal & The Mandas are back, baby – and if I’m honest, few things could make me happier. The time and distance that’s been between them since they last played a Sydney stage hasn’t dulled the clear, brilliant, shiny joy that comes off them when they play, not even a tiny little bit. I have no shame in saying that a bit of my actual soul feels better for this.
