“Spike Fuck’s return to the recorded fray has been a joy across the recent singles, and live tonight – on the same day of the album release – it shines like a blade in moonlight. Echoes of long-gone artists like Warhol and Reed ring loud, but it’s chock full of both a very modern weariness as well as a yearning to just dance its way through it all. There’s clearly a ton of thought behind these clever songs, but it requires very little mental effort to simply lose yourself in amongst it.”
