“The Great Awake play their first show in a year, but since they’re among friends, they’re really good, and they’re playing to a bunch of pretty drunken goons, they sound as fresh as a valley full of daisies. We get old stuff, covers, and a few new ones for good measure but they remian – despite any time passed – one of the most immediately likeable, gettable, jump-up-and-down-able bands in the city. Let’s not leave it for another year, eh?”
