Another box ticked, and again, another episode where I’m kicking myself I’d not seen them sooner. This is just about the perfect set, the three-piece in all its glorious action. One guitar that fills up the room and raises the hackles, one bass that rumbles its way into the stomach, and a rattling drum that grabs you by the face tenderly and then head-butts you. Then there’s the alternating screaming vocal and pitch-perfect harmonies, with totally daft inter-song banter for good measure. Every song is one to swoon, fall over, or punch someone to, and that’s no mean feat. Every note a winner.”
