Catholic Guilt – Life In Three Part Harmony

Catholic Guilt have a superb collection of songs here on their ‘This Is What Honesty Sounds Like’ EP, with this new track being the one where you get your phone lights out. On ‘Boutique Affair’ they gave it the wonky beans, but on ‘Life In Three Part Harmony’ it all gets a bit more serious-face – it’s got that high-shine sound but it never quite pulls that ridiculous over-emotive face that everyone does. A strong track from a terrific band who carry a broad range of colour in their palette.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history.
