Jerranis – Sweet Sensation

Jerranis tend to veer between Dave Grohl and Dead Kennedys, between those signature Foo Fighter harmony lines and unfiltered Biafra sneering. It’s the teeth that are on display on this little outfit from their spring collection, stamping about like it’s having a tantrum. Whatever mood they’re in on any particular song though, Jerranis have an uncanny ability to sound slightly unnerving, paranoid, tense. Go and get an elastic band, and then stretch it as far as it will go – you know it’s going to snap, and it’s probably going to take your damn eye out. That’s where Jerranis songs live.
