“Chuck Sics is both smooth and loose, like ice-skating while drunk. These beautifully formed songs are made of heart and rich depth but they land with an inescapable sense that there are loose threads, hidden breaks, important joins about to give way. It swaggers despite its fractures.” Gallery Listen

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
