New Albums This Month: Mar 2025

Tracks are nice and everything, but albums are where it’s at. These are all the albums released in March that I caught from Australian emerging, independent, and DIY artists.
As ever, all the tracks that make it onto the playlist are aces in my book but if I had to pick no more than five to check out this week, itβd be these.
“Last Quokka are a live rail, something to avoid stepping on, or even to get too close to. Fizzing with energy, it starts fully charged and doesnβt let up – right up in your face, itβs a blast to the chest and enough to give new life to the dead.” Gallery Learn More Instagram
“Last Quokka roar out of the blocks on their latest, a feral yell at the world, a series of body blows landed in rapid succession. Wired so tight it feels like it’s about to snap, it’s a jittery but joyous explosion of mayhem π£”
“Last Quokka bring it from WA and hoo yeah do they bring it. It rattles the teeth and sparks the joy all at the same time, a punch in the face youβre glad you received. Batshit and brilliant, but without a drop spilled.” Gallery Learn More Facebook | Instagram
