The mighty Sleater-Kinney, fresh off the release of their outstanding ‘Little Rope’ album – their 11th – are coming back to Sydney for the first time since 2016 for a show at Enmore Theatre
Alt-rock icons, their thirty years on the tools hasn’t dulled their edges or slowed their minds, with the newest music as raw and vibrant and challenging as it ever was.
Australia isn’t just another stop on the tour though – as Carrie Brownstein has said, “for all intents and purposes, Sleater-Kinney got its start in Australia. We recorded our first album and played our first ever shows there. Because of that, Australia feels like one of the band’s spiritual homes, and returning there always feels like a homecoming, a reunion.”
Welcome home legends.
