Most Playlisted: Dulcie, South Summit

Dulcie and South Summit shared top honours this week with their latest tracks getting the broadest support from the best Australian new music playlisters. Not only did both artists receive the most adds, but also landed spots on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday AU & NZ this week, notable support for relatively emerging projects.

🥈Didirri

🥉1tbsp, Carla Geneve, Cat & Calmell, DOPE LEMON, Dan Sultan, Luca Brasi, Skeleten

Didirri’s latest album saw his tracks peppered across a wide range of strong lists too, just ahead of the larger crowd on his heels.

DOPE LEMON stayed near the top for a second week running, while new releases from 1tbsp, Carla Geneve, Cat & Calmell, Dan Sultan, and Luca Brasi all received strong backing.

For the second week in a row though, Skeleten is the Story Of The Week. It’s really rare for a still-emerging act to receive this level of consistent playlist backing, and to appear at the top end of this list twice in a fortnight – ahead of some much more established acts – is a loud signal of support this artist is currently enjoying.

The image above is a screenshot of the top end of the full lists. You can see this week’s lists here – those are updated on Mondays and allow you to scroll down the whole list. That page also details a bit more about how the whole thing works and what the charts mean.

You can also listen to the most playlisted tracks on, er, a playlist that I keep updated here. This has got the latest 50-ish most playlisted tracks from the last month or so on it, and it’s a decent spin through recent tracks that Australian new music playlisters are adding. The playlists that I track are the same as the ones listed in the Playlist Guide.
