No surprises to see The Teskey Brothers at the top of this week’s list of most-added artists across Australia’s best new music playlists, but both Mia Wray and Floodlights both did spectacularly well to join them there and share top honours.
Most Playlisted This Week
🥇Floodlights, Mia Wray, The Teskey Brothers
🥈Mitch Santiago, Nerve, The Terrys, Tia Gostelow
Tia Gostelow and The Terrys were only a smidge behind though, all three making onto nearly a quarter of the lists I track. Nerve were also right there too – a notable achievement to be this well-added in their second week of release.
Story Of The Week though goes to Mitch Santiago, whose “Later In Life” EP saw him added to not only more lists than some other more established artists, but also onto some of the biggest and most influential lists going.

The image above is a screenshot of the top end of the full lists. You can see this week’s lists here – those are updated on Mondays and allow you to scroll down the whole list. That page also details a bit more about how the whole thing works and what the charts mean.
You can also listen to the most playlisted tracks on, er, a playlist that I keep updated here. This has got the latest 50-ish most playlisted tracks from the last month or so on it, and it’s a decent spin through recent tracks that Australian new music playlisters are adding. The playlists that I track are the same as the ones listed in the Playlist Guide.
