Floodlights‘ first release of 2024 was greeted like an old friend by the best new music playlists in Australia this week, propelling just out front of a crowded pack.

🍟 Takeouts:

This is Floodlights’ first appearance in the top three, and storming into the top spot shows just how much impact their previous releases in 2023 had on playlisters.
No surprise to see an aritst of Skegss‘ stature in the top end, but Ra Ra Viper, TOWNS, and the excellent Nick Ward all received equally strong support.
Standout performance this week though comes from Salarymen, who came within a whisker of the top spot against some heavyweight competition
