Middle Kids proved as popular as ever with the best Australian new music playlists this week, with their latest single “Bootleg Firecracker” , racking up adds on nearly 40% of the ones I track.

Teenage Dads were hot on their heels though, with a full third of playlists agreeing on ‘Speedracer’.
The Jungle Giants also scored well this week with ‘Rakata’, but Body Type were (not for the first time) the Story Of The Week, with tracks from their latest, brilliant, album Expired Candy popping up all over the place. As the only artist with less than 10k Spotify followers to get this level of support, it’s (again, not for the first time with this act) a big signal of the support around this band right now.
