Tkay Maidza pulled in the most spots across the best Australian new music playlists this week, with “Ring-A-Ling” nudging out ahead of some really strong tracks.

Middle Kids and Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers were only a shade behind with their latest tracks, with both artists gaining spots on a third of the playlists I track. That’s a really consistent amount of critic support and, in any other week, would be likely to have topped the list.
Beddy Rays’ new one also gained some strong backing across the board, while Skeleten (again!) gets the Story Of The Week nod. This artist has been regularly featured on my tracked playlists, and with the release of their debut Under Utopia album has proved that there’s a significant amount of playlister backing for this project.
