Magic Machine beam in from another dimension to psyche up the place from the off. Bags of spring reverb, oodles of shoulder-shaking rhythm, and the sort of endless jams that seem specifically designed to result in someone needing a defibrillator. Any band with this much groove in their hearts is to be respected – but anyone who can (FFS!) make a bongo solo interesting is absolutely not to be trifled with.
