This wry little number starts off has a flighty trip to its step, lo-fi notes weaving in and out of focus, with explosive moments of abandon alongside ruminative pauses. Clever as all hell, but without losing its sense of play. Lovely.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I acknowledge these First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. I pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend my recognition to their descendants.
