There can be few things more utilitarian than the lines in the middle of the road, but Sal – and, indeed, The Mandas – turns them into romantic goals to be aimed at. Few bands wear their hearts so obviously on their sleeves, and even fewer do it with such large grins. Shut your face, aim for the horizon, and get yourself gone.
