The Underground Stage
“C.O.F.F.I.N have come back home to Brookvale tonight and hell, it *feels* like home with this cheerfully insane crowd – most of whom may have known most of the band since they were knee-high. The band seem delighted too – whether that’s because they know full well they’ve put out one of the undisputed albums […]
September was exhausting, a non-stop riot of relentless, glorious stage action and song. From The Belair Lip Bombs(this month’s cover photo) to The Vanns to Luca Brasi to Private Wives, it was just one killer set after another. As if the shows weren’t enough, there was one killer new releases after the other too, with […]
“Taken from their ‘Australia Stops’ album – sure to be an album of the year contender – we get the climax to this year’s roaring, savage set of releases from this powerhouse of a band. Never anything short of uncompromising mayhem, it’s a galaxy-level explosion of crackling noise and electricity ⚡️”
“C.O.F.F.I.N’s primal roar always raises both hackles and pulse rates, and their latest is as powerful and aggressive as ever, stripping out the superficial, leaving only the vital and the necessary. Just. Let. Go. ✂️”
“C.O.F.F.I.N rage at the dying of the night, fearsome and fulsome, meaty and mental. Few bands have the muscle or the mass to pull it off – C.O.F.F.I.N have both, in bloody spades.” Gallery Learn More Facebook | Instagram
Sounding like a car crashing through the side of your house, C.O.F.F.I.N don’t even touch the brakes on their latest, from the tyre-screeching opening riff through to the closing notes as it flies off the side of a cliff. This is high-voltage, vein-bulging twitchery that’s guaranteed to leave a nasty mark that you’ll never get […]
“C.O.F.F.I.N are not subtle, like someone banging a fucking big nail into the back of your head isn’t subtle. This is blister-your-arse fast, roaringly hairy and unreconstructed mayhem, and is as much fun as falling out of a speeding car. Which is to say – blindingly great fun.” Facebook | Instagram | Twitter [flickr_set id=”72157682645421245″]
