Tired Lion – Lie To Me

Tired Lion do nothing by halves, and their newest one (with an album to come in November, hurray!) is as reliably full tilt as ever. With its hair flying and its throat scratched it strains at its leash until it snaps, sending it careening off headlong into the china cabinet. Anything with the Tired Lion stamp on it works straight out of the box, and this is another in their long line of absolute screamers.

I would like to acknowledge that the gigs that are pictured here, the stages they’re played on, the bars and venues they’re held in, and the good times they represent, are all held on lands that were never ceded by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
