The Buoys – aka the best band in Australia right now – write with a joy and a freedom verging on the manic. While on 2018’s Arm Wrestle they knocked on the front door with an airy swagger, with this latest they crash in through the windows to spend one hundred and nine seconds gleefully clawing your eyes out while yelling in your face. A band with boundless energy, who are curious about everything, and are utterly unafraid to go in whatever direction they damn well feel like – with this one they just prove again how few bands deliver such a consistent thrill.
